Schuyler Marcier, Associate Trainer (He/Him) has been with RCS since July of 2014. Over the course of his employment, he has worked in multiple departments, starting with childcare at the PAD in Lower Lake, he then transitioned to working in the residential care facilities with our adult clients. Schuyler became a full-time employee when he began working as a Peer Support Counselor and Teen Peer Court Coordinator at The Arbor Youth Resource Center. After the devastating 2017 wildfire in Redwood Valley, Schuyler transitioned from a Peer Support Counselor to a FEMA funded, RCS program called, California HOPE, which helped to identify people affected by the fire and help them get the needed resources for recovery. Schuyler is an actor, director and playwright who has performed in many local productions. After earning an Associate’s degree from Mendocino College, he went on to UC Santa Barbara to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts. Schuyler is passionate about the work and excited to bring his theatrical background to the Training Department.
