Available to Benefits Eligible Employees

  • Redwood Community Services, Inc. is excited to announce that we will be moving to a new carrier for our medical plan with Cigna Healthcare.

    There will continue to be two funding levels for the HRA. Depending on your plan selection, each enrolled employee will have access to funds set aside and made available by RCS to be used through an HRA debit card, which will be used to pay for all non-preventive care medical expenses.

  • In addition to protecting your smile, dental insurance helps pay for dental care and usually includes regular checkups, cleanings, and X-rays. Several studies suggest that oral diseases, such as periodontitis (gum disease), can affect other areas of your body—including your heart. Regular dental care can protect you and your family from the high cost of dental disease and surgery.

  • We offer a vision plan through Cigna that is covered 100% by RCS.

  • The Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment offered through Equitable features benefits of $25,000 for each employee and AD&D (accidental death and dismemberment) that is completely covered by RCS.

  • This plan is offered on a voluntary basis; therefore, the employee is responsible for 100% of the premiums.

  • We offer a complete suite of supplementary benefits provided by AFLAC. These plan(s) are 100% payable by the employee. Some restrictions apply.

  • This is how an FSA works:

    You set aside money for your FSA from your paycheck before taxes are taken out. You then use your pre-tax FSA funds throughout the plan year to pay for eligible health care or dependent care expenses. You save money on expenses you're already paying for.

    You may also be able to carry over up to $660 of unused funds to the following year. Refer to your FSA documentation for more details.

    Health FSA Eligible Expenses ($3,300 max contribution)

    • Medical expenses: copays, coinsurance and deductibles

    • Dental expenses: exams, cleanings, X-rays and braces

    • Vision expenses: exams, contact lenses, eyeglasses and laser eye surgery

    • Professional services: physical therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture

    • Prescription drugs and insulin

    • Over-the-counter health care items such as bandages, pregnancy test kits and blood pressure monitors

    Dependent Care FSA Eligible Expenses ($5,000 max contribution)

    • Care for your child who is under the age of 13

    • Before- and after-school care

    • Babysitting and nanny expenses

    • Day care, nursery school and preschool

    • Summer day camp

    • Care for a relative who is physically or mentally incapable of self-care and lives in your home

  • The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) gives employees, and their families access to work/life resources such as: counseling sessions for qualifying events; identity theft victim recovery services; legal and financial consultations; toll-free, 24/7 phone consultations and referrals from anywhere in the United States, unlimited access to Resource Advisor online resources.

  • RCS observes 12 paid holidays.

  • Employees accrue PTO beginning immediately, and after two years, your accrual rate increases.

    Accruals are based upon paid hours of up to 2,080 hours (40 hours per week) per year, excluding overtime.

    [Employed 1-2 years] Full-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt earn 5.00 hours per pay-period. Full-Time/Exempt Management earn 6.67 hours per pay-period.

    [Employed 2+ years] Full-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt earn 6.67 hours per pay-period. Full-Time/Exempt Management earn 8.33 hours per pay-period.

  • If you have student loan debt, you may be eligible for loan forgiveness, cancellation, and/or consolidation of federal student loans under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program (PSLF) or another program, and we can help! Created under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007, PSLF allows borrowers who work full time for nonprofits and government agencies to have their outstanding debt forgiven tax-free on Federal Direct Loans, after making 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan. Other loan forgiveness programs will be supported by our agency – we continue to work to be recognized as a work site that qualifies for varying loan forgiveness opportunities.

  • Our world needs mental health professionals! At RCS, we love hiring and training the future workforce – we provide interns the supervision hours needed to excel in your career and reward yourself by completing your license to practice.

Available to All Employees

  • Part-time and Temporary employees receive up to 40 hours (1 week) of paid sick leave annually.

  • We offer a supported retirement option via a 401k plan and provide up to a 2% match with a 3-year vesting schedule – employees are automatically enrolled and set up to receive a 1% after one year of service, match but may elect to opt out at any time. 

  • AirMedCare Network is an alliance of affiliated air ambulance providers. An AirMedCare network membership ensures you will have no out-of-pocket flight expenses if flown by a network affiliate by providing prepaid protection against air ambulance costs that are not covered by a member’s insurance and/or other benefits or third-party responsibility. These plan(s) are 100% payable by the employee at a reduced rate.
