  • Phoenix House works to provide a positive, short-term alternative for persons experiencing a mental health emergency or a period of intense emotional distress in which without support may result in an inpatient psychiatric stay.

Using evidence-based treatment models, our mental health services ensure that the identified objectives are in alignment with the philosophy of harm reduction and trauma informed care, are strengths-based, and highlight diversity and the strengthening of relationships.

Phoenix House helps people recover and stabilize in order to transition back to the community after experiencing a mental health crisis. Services are provided as an alternative to hospitalization and are available to consumers experiencing an acute psychiatric episode or crisis.

  • Healthy Opportunity for Mothering Experiences (H.O.M.E) Tule House is a residential treatment program for mothers. This unique program is designed to treat substance use disorder in a family-like setting where mothers may have their children with them. Moms are welcomed into the program whether their children are currently with them, in the child welfare system or with other family members and friends.

This 8-bed program is designed to treat substance use disorder, using non-medical services in group and individual counseling settings. Women in the residential treatment program at Tule House participate in family centered treatment, which allows them to bring their children to live with them at the facility and engages their self-identified family within treatment as well. The length of stay for each woman is determined by medical necessity.

Tule House implements an experiential parenting program which includes hands-on, real-time coaching of parenting skills. A therapeutic milieu provides collective household support and a cooperative living environment.
